Student Printing
Wēpa is a wireless printing service managed by the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Wēpa allows students to print documents to a Wēpa kiosk from a PSU lab computer, their personal computer, a smartphone, a USB drive, their cloud account, or the web. There are Wēpa kiosks in several places on campus, including two Library locations:
- Library 1st Floor Learning Ground Lab (two kiosks)
- Library 2nd Floor Lounge, near the elevator lobby (one kiosk)
Registered students taking classes are provided with a printing allowance of $26, equivalent to 200 black-and-white single-sided pages, each year. Unused allowance funds are not carried over. Students can add funds to their Wēpa accounts, and this money never expires.
Wēpa kiosks can also be used for copying and scanning. We recommend them for small scanning jobs of ten pages or fewer. Otherwise, please use the dedicated scanners near the Circulation Desk.
Please refer to OIT’s help page on Wēpa printing and the OIT Wēpa FAQ for more information on student printing.
Book Scanners
Book scanners are available on the 1st floor of the Library, to the right of the Circulation Desk. PDFs can be saved to a thumb drive or emailed from the scanning station. Due to high demand, please limit use to 30 minutes.
Wide-Format Printing
The library offers wide-format printing services to PSU students, faculty, and staff.
3D Printing
3D printing is available on-campus in the College of the Arts Digital Lab and through the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory Team.
Public Printing and Scanning
Members of the public can print on the PSU campus using the same Wēpa kiosks as students. You can print from a public computer in the first floor lab or using your own device, or use the Wēpa mobile app to print from your phone. Either way, you will need to create a Guest Account with Wēpa and add funds to it. Wēpa charges $0.13/page for each single-sided black-and-white page. For more information on costs, setting up a Guest Account, and using Wēpa as a member of the public, refer to the OIT help page for Guest Users.
Free public printing is available at Multnomah County Library locations, including Central Library at 801 SW 10th Ave.
Members of the public may use the Library book scanners. Scanning to email and USB devices is free.
