Library Study Spaces

Looking for a place to join a Zoom class, do your homework, or simply relax in between classes? Over the summer, several spaces in the Library have been updated to better accommodate folks needing to take online classes in between in-person classes. Privacy screens, access to power, and noise masking have been added to reduce distractions. Check out these new spaces on the first, second, and third floors. Need a Chromebook or headphones? Check them out at the Circulation desk in the first floor lobby.

Need to work on a group project or need additional privacy? Check out the reservable group study rooms. Five additional rooms have been added for Fall 2022!

Are you a graduate student? Come to the fourth floor to visit the brand new Graduate Hub featuring new technology and reservable meeting rooms with Zoom technology built in!

We’re always looking for ways to improve how the campus space can best meet the needs of students. Keep an eye out for surveys around the Library and provide feedback as we continue to enhance spaces throughout the Library to meet everyone’s needs.

Not near the Library and still need a study space: check out the Study Spaces layer on the campus digital map: map.pdx.edu.

Come explore the Library and grab a free cup of coffee Tuesday and Wednesday during the first two weeks of the term, September 27th/28th and October 4th/5th  (while supplies last).
