Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Illustrated by Salvador Dalí on Display in First Floor Elevator Lobby

It’s been 50 years since Random House offered this special edition of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland illustrated by Salvador Dalí, to members of its Book of the Month Club. This fall we are displaying Dalí’s work in the Library’s first floor exhibit space in the elevator lobby…and we’ll be going down the rabbit hole by showing a new chapter and illustration on display each week. Have a look into Alice’s surreal world as interpreted by the famous creator of dreamscapes (Alice herself appears as Dalí’s “Girl Skipping Rope”) on your visit to the Library! As a reminder, PSU Library Special Collections is open to the public for research. Email specialcollections@pdx.edu to make an appointment!
