Join us for a 30-minute guided tour of the building and learning about the different services and facilities we offer. 

Zotero and Mendeley Basics
Tuesday, October 8, 10:00-11:00am

Bibliographies made easy! Learn to use citation management tools Zotero and Mendeley to collect, organize and cite research sources. This will provide a basic overview of each system. Bring a laptop and install Zotero and Mendeley in advance if you want to use the tools in-class.
Note: We are also offering an online version of this class in November.

Organizational skills are critical to success in research. This session will present tips for staying organized, not getting overwhelmed with information, and approaching research methodically. This runs from note taking to citation management with programs like Zotero and Mendeley.

An orientation to the Library and its resources, including a brief tour of the website and building.

Grad Student Workshop: The Literature Review
Friday, October 18, 12:00-1:30pm

A thorough literature review sets the stage for success in a large research project like a thesis, dissertation, or grant proposal. This session will give students tips and strategies for conducting effective and comprehensive literature review research.
