The Library offers workshops, tours and online guides designed to help you navigate the library and do research, both online and off.
WorkshopsThe library offers both face-to-face and online workshops on a variety of research-related topics. Visit the workshop calendar and the class descriptions to see what we traditionally offer. Have an idea for a workshop we should offer? Email Meredith Farkas, Head of Instructional Services, with your suggestions. ToursTake a guided tour of the library and learn about the different services and facilities that are available to help you with research. Library Tours last 1/2 hour and are offered twice a week: Tuesdays at 11:00 am and Wednesdays at 4:00 pm. Tours begin at the first-floor Circulation Desk. Please call 503 725-5874 if you have questions about the tours.
Schedule a Research ConsultationStudents and faculty can schedule a one-on-one research consultation with the librarian who specializes in their subject.
Library Research SkillsLibrary Research Skills is a credit-bearing course offered by the library in Fall, Winter and Spring terms.
