| Details | The benefits of open access publishing are many. Among them, OA publications are cited more frequently, researchers and students have access to research studies and scholarship without pay barriers, and content is accessible worldwide. Additionally U.S. federal agencies already require or will soon require open access for research studies published from funded grants. This workshop will discuss OA concepts, author rights best practices and how to use PDXScholar, Portland State University's Institutional Repository, to create global visibility of your scholarly work and address open access mandate requirements.
