The Library Committee is instituted by the Constitution of the Portland State University Faculty Article IV, section 4f.
This committee shall consist of seven faculty members, and two students. The faculty members shall include at least two each from Arts & Humanities, Science & Engineering, and Social Sciences. The Committee shall:
Advise the Director of the Library in the establishment of all policies regarding the Library.
Recommend the allotment of library purchases and acquisitions according to college, school and departmental needs.
Report to the Senate at least once each year.
