Zotero Word Processor Integration

Zotero offers plugins for Microsoft Word and OpenOffice. These plugins allow you to insert in-text citations and footnotes into the body of your paper and automatically generate a properly formatted bibliography.

Installation

(Note: these instructions are for people using Microsoft Word on Windows systems. If you are using OpenOffice or MacOS, it may work slight differently. See here for full installation instructions on the Zotero site.)

To install the Zotero Word For Windows Plugin:

• Go to http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation and select Install the Word For Windows Plugin.
  

• Firefox will give you a warning. Click Allow.
  

• Click Install Now.
  

• You will need to restart Firefox once the installation is complete.
