Be Careful! Citation Builders can be useful, but be sure you select the citation format that you are supposed to use, and always double-check the references you get back.

Citation/Reference Management software

These tools will both help you both format citations properly and also manage lists of all the sources you are using in your research. They can also be used to organize your research notes, associating them with your sources.

• EndNote is a commercial citation management program supported by the PSU Library.
• EndNote Web is a free web-based citation management system accessible from the Library's home page.
