This platform utilizes a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and the process to providing a persistent link for these is a bit different than the other directions on this resource. In addition to the Library proxy prefix, another URL has to be added to the DOI in order to provide access.
To create persistent links to articles in SciVerse(formerly Science Direct), follow these steps:
- Select the article from the result list by clicking on the article title
- Find the DOI in the middle of the page below the citation. It will look something like this: 10.1016/j.aei.2005.07.007
Make sure you omit the "doi:" before the number.
- Add the DOI to the following prefix: http://stats.lib.pdx.edu/proxy.php?url=http://dx.doi.org/
The persistent link you provide will have the following format:
| http://stats.lib.pdx.edu/proxy.php?url= | http://dx.doi.org/ |
10.1016/S0006-3207(03)00103-4 |
| Library Proxy Prefix |
DOI Prefix | DOI |
