The Library is pleased to announce the addition of a new suite of databases focusing on regional economic statistics and analyses. The suite includes three databases:
ISI Emerging Markets (EMIS): delivers news, company and financial data direct from more than 80 emerging markets in Asia, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Provides access to sometimes hard-to-find information straight from the local markets and from over 13,000 publications.
ISI CEIC Asian Databases: focuses on Asian economic, industrial and financial time-series data, and company fundamental data. Data come from 500 primary sources, including national statistical offices, central banks and financial exchanges.
ISI Islamic Finance Information Service (IFIS): provides information on the developments in the Islamic financial world. Contents include Islamic financial Guidelines and legal content from Regulatory bodies, League Tables for Islamic bonds, Deals & Transactions detailing structure of issues, issuers, term sheets and conditions etc, rankings of top industry players, top global law firms involved in Islamic finance, Shariah Rulings, financial market information, current news, events, academic and research papers, and more.

This suite of databases is generously supported by the IMLS (Institute for Museum and Library Services) by way of grant awarded to the Library in 2004.
