The Help files imbedded in each application are usually the best place to get you started with basic questions. You can launch the Help files in either one of the following two ways:
- Press F1 on your keyboard.
- Click on "Help" on the menu bar on the top of the window (circled in red below)

A Google search with the appropriate keywords usually works well with specific topics (e.g., how to sort in Excel). Below is an example:
