Quick Links

Portland State University Campus

July 23-25, 2014

Portland State University Library is pleased to host Library Instruction West 2014 on the campus of Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.

Registration will open soon for presenters, and by mid-April for everyone else. The registration fee will be $250, which includes meals.

The 2014 conference theme is Open, Sustainable Instruction. We are excited to highlight Portland’s reputation for green living and PSU’s emphasis on sustainability as a core value and research focus. At the same time, we have much to learn from each other about creating effective, long-lasting library instruction programs that are truly sustainable.

We are pleased to share that Alison Head of Project Information Literacy will keynote the conference.

Library Instruction West, formerly known as LOEX of the West, is a conference focused on user education in academic libraries, held every two years on a college or university campus in the western US or Canada.
