The Portland State Library works continually to improve and implement Web-based access to Library services, resources, and collections.
Some of our implementation projects in progress are listed below.
- Electronic Resource Management (ERM) - A tool that will enhance our ability to provide easier access to electronic library resources.
- Oregon Sustainable Community Digital Library (OSCDL) Digitization Project
- "PSU Links" OpenURL Project - Using Innovative Interfaces, Inc.'s WebBridge system, we will work toward providing more seamless access to full-text electronic articles.
- RSS Feeds for both staff and public users.
- Social bookmarking as a collaboration tool.
Other electronic systems already implemented, but undergoing improvements are:
- ERes Electronic Course Reserves System
- ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System - This system provides Library Users with an easier method to request and manage their requests for materials and documents from other libraries.
