OIT User Support Services
The Computing in the Library web page answers many frequently asked questions about computer access in the PSU Library.
The OIT User Support Services web page answers many frequently asked questions about anything related to computers on campus and PSU affiliates.
The PSU Library has 65 computers for PSU students with an ODIN account; most of these are located in the Library Research Center on the 2nd floor of the building. There is one scanner station and two handicapped stations, both of which are on the 2nd floor.
For visitors without a PSU ODIN account, we have 44 Kiosk computers spread out throughout the building, with clusters in the Library Research Center on the 2nd floor of the building. These computers do not require an ODIN password, but they have limited access to online content: you can access our Library Catalog, online databases, and electronic subscriptions, as well as any .edu, .gov, or .mil websites. You cannot access the general internet with websites that end in .com, .net, or .org, like Google, Hotmail, or Yahoo.
The primary purpose of our computers is to help PSU students and faculty conducting scholarly research and completing their school assignments.
