Group Study Rooms

Rooms accommodate one to 15 people and include whiteboards and markers.

  • Currently enrolled PSU students may reserve a room online.
  • Visit the 1st Floor Circulation Desk with current picture ID to borrow a key.
  • Keys will only be checked out to the student who made the reservation.

Practice Presentation Rooms

Practice Presentation Rooms offer the same equipment as other "technology smart" classrooms on campus and help students gain experience and confidence with public speaking.

Family Friendly Study Room

The Family Friendly Study Room is designed for student-parents and their children. The room has two workstations for students, and there is a play area with children's books and furniture.

Faculty Reading Room

The Faculty Reading Room offers faculty members a place for quiet reading, reflection, writing and study. It accommodates six people, four in armchairs and two at networked computer workstations equipped with scanners. Faculty can visit the Circulation Desk to borrow a key for a four hour duration.

Video Viewing Rooms

The Library offers two types of Video Viewing Rooms, one for groups and one for individuals. Room 320 seats up to eight people and includes a large screen television with a DVD/VHS player, and it can be reserved online. Room 98 is equipped with three viewing stations and one listening station. Two of the viewing stations have 12" TVs and VHS players. A third viewing station has a 22" high-definition TV and a Bluray/DVD player. The listening station has a CD player, cassette tape player and a record player. Headphones can be checked out at the Circulation Desk. Room 98 cannot be reserved online. Visit the Circulation Desk to borrow a key.
