Finding a known article

Sometimes you are looking for a copy of a specific article (because you found cited in another source or because someone told you to read it). Unfortunately, article databases are not very good for this, since all the databases cover different journals. For this reason, the PSU library has created a special tool, the Citation Linker, to search for specific articles in all the databases at once.

To open the Citation Linker...

  1. Start at the library homepage - http://www.library.pdx.edu
  2. Select Resources
  3. Select Citation Linker from the list of resources

This will bring up the Citation Linker form:

  1. Enter as much citation information as you can and click Look Up.
  2. This will bring up a page with links to the article in the PSU library article databases.
  3. Click image of Download Articleto access the article.

(Note: Often you will be given links to the article in multiple databases. If you are having trouble with one, go back and try another database.)
