Google Scholar searches the academic, scholarly Web for peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles. Searching Google Scholar from the Portland State University Library will identify full text articles available from PSU Library resources as well as open access articles from other universities and colleges.

Access requirements:

To Enable Find It @ PSU from off-campus:

  • - Go to Google Scholar.
  • - Click on the Settings wheel in the upper right of the screen, and then select "Library Links" on the left side.
  • - In the search box for Institutional Access, search for "Portland State University."
  • - Click the check-box beside "Portland State University," and then click "Save."
  • - Perform a search in Google Scholar. "Find It @ PSU" links will show up in your search results. Click on one of these links, and you will be taken to the "Find It @ PSU" menu, which will provide you with options for accessing the item. You must have a valid Portland State Odin account to access the Library's licensed resources from off campus.
