The Portland State Library hosts library-related educational and informational blogs to further the mission of the Library and to facilitate communication between the Library and the campus community. The Library's main blog for official news and updates is the What's New? blog. Other types of Library blogs will be implemented as needed.

The Library encourages users to submit comments on blog posts subject to the guidelines set forth below, which may be updated from time to time by the Library without providing notice.
Users understand that any views they post are their own. The Library is not responsible for the content of any external sites or comments referenced. If you think any content posted violates the guidelines set forth below, then please alert the Library.
Comments will be open to all users on most blog posts, as appropriate, with submission of user names and e-mail addresses optional.Comments will be moderated, however, by designated Library blog managers. Commentary, opinion, and reaction to posts are welcome and coincide with the Library's commitment to academic freedom, although the following guidelines apply:
- Comments must be relevant to the specific post to which they are attached.
- Spam, flaming, personal attacks, advertising, impersonation, harassment, inappropriate links, use of personal Library staff/faculty names in users' posts, obscenities, and off-topic comments are not permitted.
- Portland State Library reserves the right not to post any comment, and/or to later remove it.
